May 2023 data released earlier this year by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) revealed that over 460,000 Americans were working as pharmacy technicians. With over 21,000 pharmacy technicians employed, the six-state New England region accounted for about 5% of U.S. pharmacy technician employment.
