Over 1,310,000 nursing assistants were employed as of May 2022 in the United States according to data released recently by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).  More than 47,200 of the nation's nursing assistants were employed in the five-state Rocky Mountain region of the country.  A further examination of May 2022 BLS data provides the following details about nursing assistant pay in the Rocky Mountain region:
