20 Best Metro Markets for Radiologic Tech Pay

In an earlier commentary, we examined Radiologic Tech Pay in the Top 20 Metropolitan Markets.  As is the case with many professions, the major metropolitan areas in the U.S. are top employment centers for radiologic technicians and technologists.  That said, it is in smaller metro markets, not the large ones, where radiologic technologists and technicians will frequently find better average compensation levels. This is readily evident in May 2021 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), which reveals that only four of the 20 largest metro areas in the nation were among the 20 best metro markets for radiologic tech pay:
