The CMS survey collects information from recent patients about their recent hospital stay, then consolidates that information into an all-encompassing patient satisfaction rating on a 1 to 5-star scale, with the scale's highest score being 5-stars. Based on the most current CMS patient surveys, six Missouri hospitals earned a five-star rating from patients.
