U.S. News & World Report's (USNWR) latest (2022-23) survey of American hospitals recognized ten hospitals from the Great Lakes region as being among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for pediatric heart care. Moreover, four hospitals in the five-state region earned distinction as a top ten pediatric heart hospitals.  No other region of the U.S. was home to more top 10 pediatric heart hospitals than the Great Lakes region.  While other Great Lakes region hospitals may offer pediatric cardiology and heart surgery services, the ten hospitals that earned a top 50 spot in the USNWR national survey stand out as the top-ranked pediatric heart hospitals in the Great Lakes region:
