In the U.S. News & World Report's (USNWR) most recent (2022-23) survey of American hospitals, the top 50 ranked hospitals in the U.S. for pediatric cancer care included nine hospitals based in the twelve-state Southeastern U.S. region. This included St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, rated the #2 pediatric cancer hospital nationally, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, which rated #7. While many Southeastern hospitals offer pediatric cancer treatment, the nine hospitals that earned distinction in the USNWR national survey stand out as the top-ranked pediatric cancer hospitals in the Southeastern U.S. region.
