In the most recent US News and World Report Children's Hospital Rankings for 2020-2021, there were 88 hospitals that earned a top 50 national ranking in at least one of ten pediatric specialties covered in the survey. Three hospitals in the five-state Rocky Mountain region earned a top 50 national ranking in at least one specialty area of pediatric care. While the quantity of high quality children's hospital care in the region is limited, the area does feature one of the ten highest rated children's hospitals in the country.
