As of May 2020, there were just over 34,700 chiropractors employed in the U.S. according to data recently published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). About 1,700 of those jobs were in the five-state Rocky Mountain region. For chiropractors, the region is the weakest in the nation for pay. The annual mean wage for chiropractors in all five Rocky Mountain states is below the national average. Moreover, four states in the region fall in the bottom quintile nationally for chiropractor annual mean wages.
