Nurse Practitioner Pay in the Rocky Mountain Region

Earlier this year, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released May 2024 data showing that nurse practitioner (NP) employment in the United States had surpassed 303,400. The five-state Rocky Mountain region accounted for just over 3% of those NP jobs. Nurse practitioner pay across the region was moderate, with all states except Wyoming meeting or exceeding the national average. However, it's important to note that due to a statewide data reporting error, employment and wage data for Colorado was unavailable. A closer look at the available BLS data from May 2024 reveals the following about nurse practitioner pay in the Rocky Mountain region:
